DCOM Review: Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie

I just watched the new Disney Channel Original Movie (DCOM), Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie (the movie was based of the TV show, in case you were wondering). The movie is about the Russo’s family vacation to the Caribbean. After a big prank, Alex (Selena Gomez) casts a spell wishing that her parents never met. Max (Jake T. Austin) has to reintroduce his parents while Alex and Justin (David Henrie) try to find a way to reverse the spell. They have to work together or their family won’t even exist!

The movie has some really cool effects, which I won’t tell you about cause i want it to be a surprise. hah. It was also really funny. I think the movie was way better than the TV show effects. It was awesome. You can watch a sneak peak of the movie here. If you didn’t see the movie tonight, it will be on again tomorrow (Saturday) at 7:00 EST, and Sunday at 12:00 PM EST and 8:00 PM EST. Seriously, If you didn’t see it.. you should go watch it.

  1. My son is watching the movie right now and he came out and said “the special effects are so much better in the movie then they normally are!” So you have one in agreement with you there.

My girls recorded it, but I’m still not sure whether I’m going to let them watch it or not. We have the no watching (or reading) of show, movies, or books that deal with witchcraft of any kind. They really want to watch it, but I’m still thinking I need to say no. It’s just something our family has decided is right for us.
    Glad you enjoyed it though.
